Noida Traffic Police — Wrong Challan has been penalised on me by traffic police

Dear sir/ma’am,
As today a challan has been penalised on me in against of wrong side and the amount to be detected should be 500 as per government norms.
Inspite of that also traffic police person has penalised me 2000 rupee and told me that he has penalised a challan of 500.
Why this this are happening in Noida.
Kindly help me out, as this is wrong.
