I had taken two rides through ola on 4th August, one in the morning and one in the evening. In evening, the first ride was cancelled by driver and I booked another ride on ola. On his arrival, he asked me OTP and I had shared with him
When I reached the destination the driver had asked me 752 rs for which I had done the payment through cash and the same amount figure was reflecting on his phone and same on mine as well. On checking the bill after few days, I noticed that app was showing that ride as cancelled.
I had reached out to customer care and they said that the driver had converted this ola ride to private ride.
Due to a bug in their system, driver is playing well.
I requested the ola team to generate the bill for the same as I had got the notification that my ride was completed and I had made the payment but they denied by saying that they cannot find the record for the same.
They are not even trying to understand my concern but they are believing that I am lying as I don't have the justified proof. The only point is how could the customer know that driver had changed the ride to private one when we are sharing the OTP and getting the notification for the same that ride is completed.
Therefore, i am approaching consumer court to look into case as this has not only happened with me but with many more people as well..
In return I only want the bill for the same.
