I had booked an ola rental on 4th June 2022. At the time of payment, there was some confusion at the time of payment and the driver suggested it was to be paid in cash of 2580.
Hence, I paid him the "cash" over UPI to this account (below), which was shared by him. However, in Ola app it shows as pending and the money has to be paid via Ola post paid.
Later when I called the driver telling him that it's still showing in my ola money postpaid as well, he said to contact customer care.
He also informed me that the UPI amount is transferred to the owner of the vehicle's bank account and not him personally.
I contacted Ola and gave them all proofs of the UPI screenshot of the payment made (Rs 2583). But, the fraudulently deny that payment has been made.
I have replied in details multiple times, but they have come back to me with same copy pase response that the time and name doesn't match.
The ride the closure time is 6.30 pm on 4th June and my payment time is 6.34 pm in UPI on 4th June. When I ask them, how there is mismatch they have no explanation.
I have written to them multiple times to check with driver also, to confirm if I paid but they never did that and instead asking me to pay twice the amount. I have attached the full conversation of the mail trail with Ola's customer team Was this information helpful? |
