I booked Ola cab today from New Town to go to Thakurpukur on 29-Nov-16 evening.
Reference number CRN[protected].
Driver took the shortest route using the GPS and that is the usual route I used to take everyday for this travel.
At then end Ola sent me a bill of 42 kms charging Rs 680.
Whereas the distance of the route can never be more than 28 kms.
There was no abnormal traffic during this travel as well and hence there was not waiting charge also l.
When I contacted Ola customer care, they asked me to pay Rs 680 and told that they will look into this once I submit complaint through their application. I clearly told that I will not pay a single rupee as it is absolutely a fraudulent act from their side.
Interestingly Ola customer care immediately told me that I can pay Rs 502.
Now the point is that knowingly Ola was charging this abnormally higher amount.
I want a remediation of this fraudulent act from Ola.
As a proof I have the invoice of Rs 680 that Ola sent me in the registered e-mail of mine.
Please let me know what action can be taken on this.
