Ola app returned 'booking failed' message (perhaps due slow network). After three unsuccessful attempts booked Uber and used it During that period two drivers contacted from Ola saying they have my booking. They started accusing that I intentionally booked them to harass. Anyway I found that really there were two Ola bookings also from same place to same place. Now I was levied ₹75 for each cancelled ride. I sent a grievance mail when I was asked to pay. I explained they need to correct their app & not show booking failed when booking is successful.
They (Oka) just dropped one cancellation and asked me yo pay the rest. I continued the correspondence by regd mail that it is a fault in thrir app and billing therefore is wrong. Since it is a postpaid I didn't pay this wrongly billed amount. They have been calling about 100 times a day threatening this and that but, no word about the fault in their app. They can check my usage history and understand that I paid them thousands of rupees since 2016 in bills as I was regulat user. But this one I can't because it hurts me to get cheated this way by a company with which I did so much of business in past. The overwhelming threatening calls daily are ghe last straw. I'll never use Ola again. Was this information helpful? |
