This is to notify a bitter experience from one of the Ola drivers. As a woman, I felt very insulted and hurt due to his unprofessional behaviour.
We prefer Ola rides due to the security, the quality of drivers and other hygiene factors as well.
I booked a cab this morning (28-Dec-2020 at 9.30 am) and given the pick-up location as 'current location' from the Ola map. Unfortunately, the location was approximately 100 mtrs away from the exact point and I didn't notice the same, as I believe in your map's accuracy.
After reaching the destination, the driver didn't call me. When I called him back and understood that he is around 100 away and I rushed to the car. He was very impolite and angry on the phone.
When I reached near the cab. He deliberately rejected me and cancelled my trip - again with very unprofessional behaviour and impolite manner.
I was actually surprised, he was scolding me as I if deliberately given a wrong pick up location.
Is it a big offensive issue, for a slight difference in pick up location in Ola? (automatically generated pick up location from Ola maps)
Was the driver trained to shout against the traveller due to this very small and negligible location mismatch and cancel the trip?
In addition to that, I had to pay 50Rs extra. Is that a kind of punishment that the driver presented me?
kindly consider this as a concern from a woman who faced really bad experience from one of the associates from your reputed organization. No other women should face such a similar experience from him.
Please note this is not a refund request. I was really hurt due to his behaviour. Imagine if I was in an emergency and I received a similar experience from him.
