On 26th Oct'22, I booked a Ola Cab for Bengaluru Airport drop vide CRN [protected]. Initially the fare amount was shown as 908/- at the time of booking the ride but eventually I had to pay Rs 990/- after reaching the airport, a surge of Rs 82/- . But most importantly the complaint is regarding the deficient services as the AC of the cab was not working, the cab was not clean (as they always claim) and the driver was not wearing the mask properly. For more than one hour, I alongwith my family travelled in that cab with the window glasses in rolled down condition, this getting exposed to the polluted air of Bengaluru City. After starting the ride, the driver informed us that AC was not working as we requested him to roll up the window glasses.He refused plainly.As we had to rush to the airport we continued with the ride thinking that we will complain against such deficient and unhygienic services to Ola. However on complaining to Ola, they only have a coupon of Rs 82/- towards the compensation of excess fare and didnot refund the entire fare amount which we had demanded considering the deficient services which their driver partner had rendered to us.It has been more than one month now but still the refund is awaited from them.They not only have to refund the entire amount, which they charged us through cheating but also pay the compensation to towards the harassment meted out. Further, due to exposure to pollution, my family (wife and son) took ill and suffered from fever, severe cold and cough for which I had to spend on their medication. I demand justice, in the form of a refund ( Rs990/- ) and compensation (Rs 5000/-) towards mental harassment & medication charges, to be done with me by Ola for fraudulently taking money from me, deficiency in their Cab service and unhygienic condition of the cab.
