Ola Cabs / Ani Technologies — driver denied taking cash and ola put amount as pending and deducted some from wallet | |
Just wanted to share my experience with olacabs today... I booked a shared cab for my friend from dwarka to jnu and as i had only 14 rupees in my wallet, i asked her to pay the remaining 127 amount to the driver in cash as the total amount was 141. Right when she reached and got down the cab, i got a notification in my app that my wallet amount has been deducted and 127 rupees came as amount due to be paid in one crap feature #olacabs has recently launched called ola credit which lets you travel cashless if you have your credit or debit details added which i don't. After talking with my friend, i got to know that driver made my friend pay full amount that is 141. On registering a complaint, ola said that the driver denied taking any cash, and hence they said, they won't nullify the credit due or refund the wallet amount. What am i supposed to do in this case. It's not that the amount matters but there is no sense of responsibility left in the market. When i asked the ola to confirm from the other people travelling in the same cab as the couple traveling with my friend were really good people and i was sure they would at least tell that my friend paid the amount in cash and driver is lying, they chose not to respond.
