I had booked an outstation ride from ola app for a trip from patna to gaya on april 7, 2018. Instead of following the route shown by gps the driver took a longer route because he had some personal work on that route. Despite requesting repeatedly to switch on ac he kept on giving illogical excuses like natural wind is better than the cooling of ac etc. Because he had to spit out after consumption of paan and gurkha. His behaviour was not very comfortable as he forced me to buy sweets at a shop where he stopped to have snacks. He forced me to pay rs. 1000 at petrol pump for fuel price. When i denied to pay anything in between the trip but he forced me to do so and said this amount will be adjusted against the final fare. The driver stopped at several places for different purposes like meeting someone which failed, buying paan and gurkha, having snacks etc. After completing the trip he showed me the final fare as rs. 2730 which was far more (Almost rs. 500) than the expected normal fare. I paid him full fare since i could not contact the the number given in support section of ola app. Suddenly, after counting the returned money i realised that the driver hadn't adjusted rs. 1000 in the final fare. I tried to stop him but he didn't stop. He ran away. I called him back but he started telling lies. Then i registered a complaint against him in ola app under support section for which only yesterday (On april 18, 2018) i got a call back seeking some more information. The customer care executive told me that he is not able to contact the driver partner and as soon as he talks to him my complaint will be resolved. So what he couldn't do in 10 days after talking to me he completed the investigation in less than 1 hour and sent a mail stating that nothing will be refunded to me. The driver has taken rs. 1000 plus almost rs. 500 from me apart from the actual fare.in total i paid him rs. 3730 in stead of around rs. 2200. Hence i request you to resolve this issue as soon as possible and refund me the extra amount charged. Now, since after taking so much time and energy of mine, the ola company has refused to refund me anything despite my timely follow ups, i request you to help me in getting my money back along with a compensation of rs. 10000 for mental harassment.
