Ola Cabs / Ani Technologies — I missed my train due to OLA bad management

Sir,

It is to my dismay and frustration that i write this compliant. I travelled by OLA today by Mini-White Micro CRN number[protected], ( i do not have the vehicle number with me and it is not showing in the Your rides list also), and left my residence at sharp 2.22 pm. The Driver FAISAN M did not know the route and he did not have the navigation also. Without knowing the route and without navigation and with my little knowledge about Bangalore route i guided him upto a point after that i did not know where to go. The driver went on asking and he took me in a very very long route and i reached the railway station at 3.45 pm. My train to Hyderabad via Kucheguda express was at 3.30 pm. I am feeling horrible and frustrated and OLA owes an apology to me and has to reimburse my train ticket cost, plus the OLA charge of 122 debited to my OLA money account, plus re-imburse my return charge by OLA of Rs. 165 to home plus reimburse my bus fare of Rs. 740 which is my ticket booked for tonight again to Hyderabad by BUS SRS Travels.

OLA cannot appoint drivers who dont know the routes, cannot run the vehicle without a navigator and in such cases should not take the passenger on board and should have the decency to tell that please go in another cab as i do not know the route. What sort of a Company are you running, Are you out only to make money. Where is the customer satisfaction. ? How can you even do this? Why are you monitoring such rides which go without navigation ? Dont you come to know when the car is driving without a navigation. ? How can you make a passenger miss a train is my question.

Please reply to me and send me a cheque for the amount i have claimed. What about the mental agony and damages and time wasted on travel? Who will pay for this time of 3 hours wasted, wasted on a useless journey? Please send a cheque for Rs. 1027 failing which i shall go to the Consumer Court.

And please reset yourselves properly and make sure the passenger does not suffer due to no knowledge of routes and no navigation. You people are just out to make the fast buck.

Please verify from your end whether it was the Drivers fault for not having the navigation today or it is the technical lapse from the Company s end that the Driver could not access the navigation.

If a cab is going without navigation the Driver should be called and asked why the navigation is not on. Or strict instructions should be given to the Driver who accepts the ride without knowing the route. All Drivers should be trained to know the minimum routes. Airport, Railway stations, Bus Terminus, Major tourist spots etc. It is ridiculous if OLA Company employs drivers who dont know routes. I personally have instances of having suffered even earlier beacuse the Driver did not know the route nor could follow the navigation.
