Ola Cabs / Ani Technologies — ola cab driver cancels booking done and does not turn up | |||||
We booked an ola cab to go from brigade gateway to kial bangalore airport for a ride on 26th february at 17:15 hours. The cab was booked on 25th february itself. The booking was confirmed and we were sent an sms stating that the driver details would be confirmed 10 minutes before the ride. We received an sms today i. E. 26/02/2018 at 16:57 hours confirming the name of the driver and stating that the driver is arriving shortly - name of driver ranjithkumar - [protected] and cab no. Ka05ag3778 - white dzire tour. The passenger was waiting for the cab to arrive and suddenly at 17:02 hours we receive a message from vk-olacabs that your ride crn [protected] has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience and we were request to book another ride. On calling the driver, he started to accuse us of cancelling the booking which we have not done. This is not the first time that ola cab drivers have played such dirty tricks. Ola needs to have accountability on the services confirmed and cannot cancel the rides at the whims and fancies of the drivers. I demand a strict action against the said driver for having caused a last minute inconvenience and ask ola management as to why we should not sue them for making us suffer and run around for another cab - which we of course did with another service provider. We demand a written apology, action against the driver and a accountability from management of ola with proper capa to ensure that such action shall not be repeated and how the management is going to assure the same.
