I book ola yesterday dated 08/08/2022, driver does not reach the exact destination as a curtsy i walk to his destination upon discussion with him. he asked me OTP but did not entered i did not realised the same as he said there is network/app issue, i travelled with him and later once we reached destination he demanded cash saying in his app cash mode is showing, i told him that in my app it is digital then he forcefully asked to do Gpay and shown his mobile screen, it was late night hence i paid he said later your ride will be closed and you will receive invoice, currently it is not happening because of App/network issue. once i went home and found ride has not started only, it is in scheduled state till today (screenshot attached) i paid him amount via gpay (screenshot attached) i called him why he did it to me i booked ola, this is not acceptable, this behaviour will cause more harm as no one is stopping drivers of doing such frauds, and they might have do some more harm to consumers and company reputation, now i am hesitating booking OLa post this incident and trying other Apps like Rapido, uber etc.
Below are the driver and car details to take action, if no action is taken then will file a complaint for encouragement of such activities of drivers harassing customers and it may lead to threat to their lives, how will people book rides for their loved ones without fear?
The ride is still in schedule state, don't know how to settle this, pls guide.
I can reach out to the Police if you want to see CCTV footage from where i onboarded below car.
I am demanding/requesting that you remove this driver from your app and ask him to leave, he may cause harm to customers and he will spread such things in other drivers as well where they might also start doing such frauds, causing harm to the company reputation.
