I booked a ride for rithala from near dwarka more metro station on 10 june 2019. When i booked the ride, the ola app displayed a fare of rs 310. I made a call to the driver. Ola driver asked me how would you pay, i replied him cash. After that, the service driver picked up us and left us at our destination point. I paid him in cash. My phone was stolen while returning home. Its fir attached in this mail.
Now i received a mail from ola that i have to pay rs 299 for the same ride, i tried to contact the customer service of ola, but i couldn’t. Because i had a basic phone at that time. Then i came to know through the customer service officer, i would have to install the ola app on my smartphone, but it is not possible for me because my mobile is stolen.
After that, i also mailed in ola customer support but from both places, i got the same reply that i have to pay again because you did not tell us within 72 hours.
Now my question is that when i received mail from them after 72 hours. How do i know that they charged twice for one ride? I had already paid. So why do i pay again?
A few days ago, i received a call from ola customer care, where i again told him about the same things and he replied that he solved my problem. But still, i am receiving mail and messages from ola, where they are threatening me that if i do not pay again, they will take legal action.
This fraudulent business of ola is disgusting.
