Took an ola ride. The payment option was selected as cash upon booking and while starting the trip... The driver took cash. But after the ride was over and the driver left, i received the invoice which showed that the ride is paid through ola credit. I followed it up with ola number of times but there was no response from their customer care. Every time they told me that they are going to take it up but their was a straight reply that they cannot refund the amount. When i insisted on transferring the call to a senior executive and ask her to take it up with the driver, a conference call was made where the driver was literally forced to say no, he did not accept the money (Which he had earlier accepted). On top of that i am told that we will only go with what the driver is saying and we cannot do anything about it. And since it is a very old case, we can't help (Ride was taken on 3rd jan, i had been following up since then and on 15th jan, they say that case is old!!!)
I did not ask for this ola credit facility nor was i communicated in any form that ola will automatically debit the money through the credit account. This is just cheating the customer in a bad way. Why should i pay twice for a ride. Was this information helpful? |
