Amount paid AGAIN in Cash to Driver for same ride: Rs. 260
I took an Ola Auto from Hebbal to Domlur (Bengaluru) & opted to pay via Gpay UPI prepaid method before the ride ended.
I initiated online payment via Google pay for Rs. 244 which got debited from my account but got stuck in processing state in Google Pay app waiting for receiving the payment by Ola.
The transaction was stuck for few mins until the transaction timer in Ola app had expired. However, the payment transaction got successful after sometime in Google Pay app (Ola received the amount) but the Ola App status did not get updated till the ride end making me pay the driver AGAIN in Cash after the ride. I ended up paying the Driver Rs. 260 in Cash towards the end of the ride.
I informed the Driver that Ola has received my amount paid via Google Pay but it is not reflecting in the Ola app. However, the Driver was very stubborn to listen & demanded me to pay him in Cash on his personal Google Pay UPI ID.
So, Ola has charged me twice for the same ride. This is absolutely unfair.
I tried raising complaint via app & website but nothing is working and neither am able to connect to their customer support via phone.
Am unable to raise any customer complaint request as well to request for a refund on the double charged fare.
There is no way I can raise this concern with Ola and that is quite disappointing on how their customer assistance is operating.
Please provide me a refund of Rs. 244 which was paid online to Ola as I already paid in Cash to Driver.
