On 18.10.2021, I booked OLA from Hoysala Nagar to Airport, Bengaluru. On reaching to pick up location, driver told me to cancel the request given in OLA so that he will drop me to airport personally. Since it was an official trip, I told driver that I have to submit receipt to my company. In turn, he replied that he would give hard copy receipt ( paper bill). I told him that our company will not accept it. Then he collected the OTP and started the trip.
On the way, we picked up one of my colleagues from HRBR layout. On reaching to Airport, driver told us that he was not able to close the trip due to network issue. Hence he wanted cash telling that he will close the trip once network issue is resolved. Believing his words, I paid Rs 860/- cash and proceeded to Chandigarh by flight. On reaching Chandigarh, I opened OLA app to book a taxi to Ludhiana, on opening I got a pop up message that payment is pending for the trip carried out in Bangalore. Hence the app did not allow me to book further. Hence I called the driver and asked about this. He told he will verify and come back. After that no response. Hence I paid that amount through my credit card and booked a taxi to Ludhiana. After we came back to Bangalore I called the driver and asked about this issue, he told he will refund the amount to my account through Gpay. Even after multiple reminders, he has not refunded the amount and nowadays he is not attending my calls. His personal Mobile number is [protected]. I have attached his photo also.
In this regard, I kindly request you to advise him to refund the amount or OLA can deduct from his payment and refund to me.
