My wife booked an Ola cab yesterday from home to office on 30-June-2021 at about 8.48 AM.

She paid the driver, Prince Kumar, the fare of Rs 241 by cash at the end of the ride, at around 9.20 AM. This has subsequently been verbally confirmed by the driver.
However, when she tried to book an Ola cab in the evening using the Ola App, she was unable to do so, as the app kept demanding that the fare of Rs 241 be cleared. The Ola app has not shown any update and still keeps requesting payment, even now after 25 hours, although the driver accepts having received the payment .
Have filed a complaint, but there has been no response even after 12 hours. There is just a statement in Ola Support stating that Rs 2 has to be paid, but she keeps getting messages to pay Rs 241.
Cannot understand as to how Ola can harass someone for payment after the payment is made by cash. Surely, they should be penalized for mental torture and harassment. Was this information helpful? |
