Ola Cabs / Ani Technologies — Too risky to depend on ola during early morning hours | |||||
To all cab users, I would like to share my horrible experience with ola cabs. My bad experience would help other cab users to be aware that it is too risky to rely on ola cabs during early morning hours. The drivers either sleep after accepting the cab bookings or they are not aware of the bookings or they cancel the trip. Ola management can reach out to me if they want to disagree my statement. I have facts. I have booked a taxi early morning at 4:30am through ola app on 28th sep. The taxi is supposed to reach my home at 4:30am but it did not and no communication from ola side. I had to wake up the driver at 4:30am and got to know from driver that i chose car pooling service but i did not. There is no message which indicates that the service i chose was car pooling. I had to cancel the trip and book another cab thru ola app successfully with confirming the driver details. The driver requested me to cancel the trip as the distance between his place and my home is around 4.5 kms and he didn't want to honor the booking. I had to cancel again. I tried booking another cab and did it successfully received the driver details as well. The driver didn't respond to my calls. I had to can this booking as well. My question to ola management? 1. Are you providing only the app for booking and take no responsibility of honoring the bookings, do not care about customer satisfaction, quality of service? 2. Shouldn't there be a call to me when there was multiple cancellations to understand what went wrong? I sincere request to the ola management is make the above points clear so that public won't rely on just apps rather they would like to a cab operator like meru (Reliable service). Finally, to the readers and ola management i would like to inform you that uber came to my rescue on that day morning. I was able to get a cab and reached my destination on time. My appreciate the service o[censored]ber. I have deleted ola app and i won't avail their service anymore. The pain point is there are not many alternatives at 4:30am in the morning when you have a bus to catch. This is not my first bad experience with ola.
