I had booked outstation ola for to and fro journey in the morning of Sunday 16th oct from chandigarh sec 44A to Baba balaknath temple, Garhkal, near kasauli.
The estimated fare shown was approx Rs 1600.
It started at 9:50 AM and was completed at around 3.10 pm at sector 7 panchkula and the total distance covered was 120 kms as confirmed by driver also.
When the journey stopped, the total bill generated was for Rs 11111, 1059km, 320 min. I.e 200 hrs travelling per hour in wagon R. Rs 5099 was automatically deducted from my ola post paid and 6111 was shown as payable. I was stunned after seeing the invoice.
The invoice shows covering 1059 kms in 320 min on hilly area. How the GPS system of the company calculated the distance is also beyond imagination.
In top of it, I had to catch train and then this event happened.I tried Ola customer care no 50 times but it was not getting connected.
The driver support of ola was also clueless when driver explained the whole scenario to them and had no resolution.
After making numerous calls and writing complaints, I received a mail on 25th October 2022 that Rs. 3383 will be refunded in 10 business days. Now almost 15 days have elapsed but I have not received the amount. The customer care has no answer. I am attaching all the relevant mails and invoice.
