Ola Cabs — Cancellation charge | |||||
On the 4th instant i booked a ola taxi which i found was nearing my pick-up location while tracking. suddenly the vehicle stopped few hundred metres away from my location and i got a call from ola customer care seeking clarification whether i had canceled the ride. on confirmation of no cancellation from my end the customer care person assured me of a different vehicle within the next few minutes. i got the vehicle and took the ride. within the next few minutes during the ride i get a sms indicating i will be charged rs.75/- for cancellation of the previous vehicle. this amazed me; hence i called customer care and was told this amount will be adjusted in my next ride. i denied the offer and requested them not to charge me extra for no fault of mine. however to my displeasure i was charged rs.75/- extra on my subsequent ride followed by another sms stating that i can avail a discount coupon on a subsequent ride before 31st july '16! since i always pay by cash my next ride on trying to use the coupon says i need ola money to avail the same. this kind of stupid system stinks and sounds absurd. please take corrective action and return my money without all these cheap tricks tamashas!
