Ola Cabs — Driver and policy | |||
DONT attempt to push your cheap marketing stunt to mask away the disastrous behavior of the cab driver and GPS system. I have talked to Asst Manager and told my problems, I want to know what action will be taken against the driver and GPS system. 1. Erratic GPS system a. when the destination (home) is just 10 km, the OLA cab GPS takes takes me to through a route 25 km, moving thru the most traffic congestion areas. This is happening 2nd time b. In one of the rides from Gurgaon (office location) to Janakpuri (home ), when the cab was about 800 m from my drop point, OLA cab driver receives a call for a pick up for another passenger who is located 1.5 km and GPS system, displays the pic up destination and ignores the drop for me. ON being asked, the driver says "I follow GPS" . Ultimately he reaches the pick up point and waits for 15 min for the "prospective customer" who never turns up !!. The GPS and erratic judgement of the driver has taken additional 45 min to reach my home. c. When I enter my home location before ride for a pick up it never displays as the pick up point in your GPS with the result I have to go out of my house walk 50 m make call give instructions to driver to reach me !. d. Surely a GPS system cannot DECIDE who should be dropped/ picked up first. It must be left to the human judgement. 2. Rude behavior of the driver Even when the driver was alerted about the "long" route he continued to drive. With the result where I have to have 45-50 min riding time, it was nearly 2 h ride!. 3. Incomplete invoice details When you make a invoice, you must ALSO state a. distance traveled (in km) b. duration (in minutes) of the ride c. The route through which the ride has taken place It must be made known that I have already paid for the service at the time of boarding the cab, and I am a bonafide customer and the services must be imparted with all spirits and intentions aiming at customer satisfaction and NOT at the whims and fancies of OLA logistics, poorly conceived regulations and rude behavior of the driver and finally OLA try to give a soap of 50 % off ON NEXT RIDE for me !.
