Ola Cabs — High level escalation to ola cabs management about last minute cancellation of booking by ola (personal) dear ola management | |||||
Dear ola cabs management, I am abhishek pansare from navi mumbai (Maharashtra), we had travelled to chennai (Area-thiruvottiyur bus depot) on 16th june 2016 and our return air ticket was on 17th june 2016 morning 5.20am from chennai international airport to mumbai To avoid any last minute rush we had pre-booked your ola cab from mobile no : [protected] (Priyanka mankar account) on 16th june 2016 for 17th june 2016 at 3.00am for pickup area thiruvottiyur bus depot (Chennai) to chennai international airport and we also got pre-booking confirmation on 16th june 2016 at 3.28pm via sms We were totally relaxed about early morning travel to airport as we relied on our pre-booking with ola cab for pickup at 3.00am on 17th june 2016 to airport But at 2.50am on 17th june 2016, we got shocking revert from ola saying "sorry! We could not find a cab at your location for pickup time, please check the ola app again after few minutes to find nearest cabs available for booking" when we were expecting our pickup at 3.00am sharp with no other backup plan with us to reach airport. It did shock us badly as we could not afford to miss our flight as we had very urgent work in mumbai on 17th june morning. At that emergency situation we had to call up hotel facility to drop us to the airport and for that they charged us 2500rs taking advantage of the emergency situation we had. This unprofessional and careless behaviour from ola cabs shocked us and put us in trouble. I want to ask ola management that when a customer pre-books a ola ride and when that customer gets the booking confirmation message then it is ola cabs responsibility to serve that customer as he/she might be totally relied on ola for his/her travel. Ola can not simply cancel the booking at last minute which was pre-booked 1 day prior. Consider a scenario that if we wouldn't have got any help at the last moment to reach airport in time? What could have happend? We need an answer and compensation of rs 2500 from ola cab management regarding same. I took a ride from Bhiwandi to Worli and while booking the app showed 650 with 15% reduction in prices. When I got the bill summary it was 946. When I called customer care I'm 1st Feb the lady said money will be refunded. On 6th Feb I was told that charged are correct that too when I called. It is not about 300 RS extra charge but about unethical business practices.

I am a senior citizen and a retired Govt. Employee aged 74 years. I booked an Ola Cab on 9 th May 23 with CRN NO [protected].I paid the cab driver through G Pay with transaction ID NO[protected]. Ola cabs is harassing me with their continuous phone calls day and night to clear my dues for the said trip. I do not have an Ola money account and I never paid through Ola money account. I gave a complaint to the Police Commissioner, Hyderabad and CEO OLA cabs. Please think twice before booking an Ola cab.
