I would like to draw your attention to my booking made at 8:47p. from my Ola App, it was confirmed CRN 81321909, Driver Name- HINDU SINGH (Phone Number [protected]) and Car Number RJ 19 TA 6418 who arrived outside my theatre from where he was supposed to pick me up and drop me to my destination - National Law University located in Mandore which is on the outskirts of Jodhpur 17-18 kilometres from my pick up. This particular Mr. Hindu Singh informed that he cannot drop us at the middle of the night bcause he would not get a pick up from my destination at this odd hour. There was no prior intimation of refusal until I met the driver- Mr. HINDU SINGH.
At this point I was forced to book another cab CRN 81362549, Driver Name Karunanidhi (Phone Number [protected]). He seemed to arrive in 10 mins. He too was convinced and persuaded by Mr. HINDU SINGH as to the consequences of not getting a pick up and therefore Mr. Karunanidhi too refused because it apparently wasnt "profitable" and that Mandore did not fall within the territory of Jodhpur. I approached the call centre after the SECOND refusal. The call centre happened to book a sedan belonging to MR. HINDU SINGH with the same above particulars (Car Number: RJ 19 TA 6418) who happened to refuse yet again, a THIRD TIME, at 12; 15 in the night. THIS TIME HE MISBEHAVED ON THE TELEPHONE.
I happend to call the Call centre a repeated fourth time for assistance, who were ind enough to book me a confirmed CRN 81364489, Driver Name- Mr. MAHENDRA SINGH CHANGAL ([protected]), Car Number- RJ 19 TA 3434 at 12:18a.m who refused ab initio and was pretty disrespectful asking us not to wait. By this time it was 12:30 and i was accompanying a female friend and there were genuine safety issues besides the lack of availability of transport. Upon a FOURTH REFUSAL, i called the call centre A 5th Time.. to which they again booked me Mr. MAHENDRA SINGH CHANGAL RJ 19 TA 3434 at 12:20 a, m who called me up on my number and blasted me for calling the call centre and that he would not drive becuase it was apparently his wish not to at that odd hour of the night, so I shouldnt waste my time waiting for his arrival, which i would Like to point out that this was THE FIFTH REFUSAL in a span of 45 minutes (11;46-12:28) with REPEATED MISBEHAVIOUR FROM THE DRIVERS.
After which the call centre on the SIXTH call, happened to help me with Mr. PUKH RAJ CRN[protected]Car Number RJ 19 TA 6338, WHO HAPPENED TO DROP US TO OUR DESTINATION. I am indeed grateful to Mr. PUKH RAJ and the call centre for repeated assistance.
However, I write this complaint and I DEMAND STRICT ACTION AT THE EARLIEST against Mr. MAHENDRA SINGH CHANGAL and MR. HINDU SINGH, who were genuinely disrespectful and unprofessional. I hope your agency understands the safety concern of women travelling a night and the massive inconvenience and panic created to me and my companion. I also hope you appreciate that such misbehaviour cannot be tolerated. I believe a cab service is only helpful because of its accessibility.
I however would like to appreciate that Ola Cabs have done a fabulous job in National law University Jodhpur, but such INCONVENIENCE and MISBEHAVIOUR shall really go down as bad reputation from a group of students who actually rely on your brand in Jodhpur and other places of India.
Therefore, I WOULD LIKE TO BE UPDATED on the action taken on behalf of your agency against MR. MAHENDRA SINGH CHANGAL and MR. HINDU SINGH at the earliest. I seek your co-operation and speedy assistance in this matter. Looking forward to your response.
