I had booked a cab to travel from North Campus, Delhi to Kamala Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The cab arrived and asked me the destination to go. After boarding the cab, the cab driver told me just 5 mins into the ride that the cab doesn't have a permit for Uttar Pradesh. He told me that he can only drop me until the Delhi-U.P. border, after which I had to book another cab. This is a a serious inconvenience as the driver and customer both need to be on the same page for a successful ride. He was clearly unaware that the ride was booked for Ghaziabad, U.P. and that the cab didn't have a permit for U.P. OLA should urgently look into the matter and make sure that both customer and the cab driver have no problems to complete the ride without any problems. Such problems have also occurred on a previous ride and then too the driver had asked my family to de-board and book another cab. This is not only costing us more but also wastes a lot of time. For some one traveling in an urgency matter, this is a matter of grave concern. I would ask OLA complany to look into the matter urgently and make sure that such incidences are not occurring again. Until some concrete steps are taken in this direction, I will not be using the OLA app again. Was this information helpful? |
