On 25th June 2022 i had booked Ola cab for journey to start from IC colony borivali west to reach The Leela Hotel, Andheri East. I got booking confirmation CRN [protected]. Ride was arrived at my locatoin for pickup however, within 2-3 minutes the driver himself cancelled the rider and INR 50 was charged as cancellation fees. I had raised the complaint and the amount got waived off by OLA. Later again i tried booking the cab and after booking the driver called my mobile to confirm the destination, after telling him the destinatoin (Andheri east) he cancelled the ride (i didnt get any booking id for the same). 3rd time the ride was finally got booked vide CRN [protected]. The rider was started at 2.33 p.m. and estimated fare was showing arount INR 320. I reached the destination (The Leela Hotel, Andheri East-Miumbai) at 3.30 p.m. Assuming the driver will end the rider after dropping me at destination i didnt check the app whether the fare is deducted from ola money or not. LAter in the evening when i checked the ola app i was shocked to know that the driver has ended the rider arount 5 p.m. and i was charged INR 1082 and total fare of INR649 was deducted from my ola wallet. remaining INR 433 was showing as paid by cash. I didnt pay any cash and i had reached my destination at 3.30. The total distance from borivali west to Andheri East is 16 km and in the rider details its showing as 64 kms. Its surely fraud done by the driver, i am sure that the driver might have taken another passenger in continuation of my ride and he might have collected cash from the 2nd passenger. I had already raised the complaint for the same on OLA app but the OLA has closed that complaint stating the fare was correctly charged. ITs very pathetic customer support and i am sure that OLA hasnt investigated the matter thoroughly. Was this information helpful? |
