So both the issues mentioned below have happened with me atleast thrice before.
1. Everytime I book an Ola the app says "xyz mins left to pay online". Its not fair. You cannot kind of hold me at ransom that pay now or pay by cash later.
Why is this time limit there?
Why can't I chose the mode of payment as per my will?
2. Second thing which happens quite frequently is that if at all you pay online through upi, the transaction is a success, money gets debited, I even get a message that payment is successful, the Ola app also shows payment done, BUT when the time comes to end the ride, the cab drivers app tells that the payment needs to be done in cash.
What do the customer AND the cab driver do here? Because both of their apps are displaying conflicting information.
Customer has paid, bit the poor driver needs to collect money to later justify his rides to the company.
And when you try to contact the company there customer care number( that is given to the driver(the customers app does not even have an option of calling the customer care) does not even work. It is just an automated ivr that just gets terminated in between without any explanation.
I don't understand how is the government allowing all this to happen. I am sur I am not alone. How can a company be allowed to be so negligent about laws and customer rights?
Why is Ola still operating?
Why have they or been investigated?
I don't know if this complain will be acted upon or fall in deaf ears but I am stopping here. Enough is enough Ola needs to be accountable and pull up their socks if they want to be in the game for long
