[Resolved] Olx India — my account is blocked for no reason

My account with phone number [protected] is blocked for more than a year now. I didn't know about this site to raise my complaint . I had posted an ad for selling my imported nakamichi TV. Many asked me to share my no, but after sharing no response. Some had put a very low offer which I refused. After that it seems I got banned. I was able to sell many household items thru OLX and was happy about it. I request to you to verify my case and reinstate my account. I hadn't misused the site against terms and conditions.

OLX India Customer Care's response Dear OLX User,

We hope you are doing well and many thanks for contacting us.

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused while accessing your account

OLX is an online platform which can only be accessed within local boundaries of India.

Your account is banned because you have tried to access your account via foreign IP which is not allowed on our site.

The good news is that since you are our valued user, I have re-activated your account.

My suggestion would be to refrain from using any International IP again or else the system might block this account permanently.

I wish to clarify that an account is not manually blocked, however, our system automatically blocks the account if it detects having been accessed via foreign IP or VPN.

Irrespective of buying or selling activity performed, the account is subject to automatic ban as soon as the system recognizes a foreign IP used to access OLX.
