OneAssist Consumer Solutions — Closing the claim

I bought a policy for a laptop which is gifted by my brother in law. There is a damage on laptop screen and hinges. I registered a claim which took more than 5 days, asking for this and that docs, and I clearly said that thus is gifted by my broinlaw...they did not say anything that time. Infact, while buying also they did not say that you can't buy policy if this is not gifted by your immediate family member. I just received a call saying since the laptop is gifted by broinlaw but policy is in your name so you cannot file a claim or they will not accept the claim. What nonsense..what is the use of buying a policy..you should not have allowed me to buy. Where are checks in your system, I design systems by profession and these are mandatory checks you should have to prevent users in buying policy not compliant to your policies.

Can you please help me in getting the claim or return the policy amount that I paid. We should not allow such policy companies to run in India. INDIA IS NOW CHNAGED.MIND IT.
