[Resolved]  OneAssist Consumer Solutions — Returned Device in MORE damaged condition after denying claim

I purchased a Google Pixel phone from Amazon India and got in insured with One Assist. Recently my phone fell and front and back panel was damaged. I sent it for repair. they denied claim saying it is overseas model even though I purchased in india. Moreover they damaged it further. The screen was attached to main body when I gave the device and phone was working. Now the screen is detached and phone not working. they say they will do nothing about it.
My question is if you deny the claim do you have the right to damage the device further. Should you not return the device in same condition if you are not going to repair it.
Does it happen that an insurance company deny claim and inflicts more damage on insured.
My phone was worth 76000. I want compensation of 30000 to be able to buy somewhat matching phone for my work as my phone was earlier functioning.
They should also return my insurance amount as according to them insurance is not valid. Why did they not say it at time of insurance. I would have selected any other company.
Their behaviour has caused immense mental trauma.
I fail to understand how can they DAMAGE MY PHONE MORE INSTEAD OF REPARING IT. AT LEAST THEY MUST RETURN IT IN SAME CONDITION.
