OneAssist Consumer Solutions — Extended warranty not being taken seriously

I had raised a complaint earlier about extended warranty not being followed by one assist on 24th aug . This complaint is regarding Hi Sense model fridge which is not cooling the lower compartments . After raising the complaint in this site I got a call and technician was sent to look into the matter . The technician was supposed to come today but he did not turn up, when I called him up he said the items will take a long time to get cleared by insurance department and that he will purchase the items and amount to be paid to him. I then called up the one assist contact person Mr. Shibu who told me that all items are covered under warranty and no amount to be paid and that technician will surely come today . But the technician has still not yet turned up .When I called him up he said that he is working on a personal job and by the time he reaches it wud be late, i still told him to come and repair the fridge as he had come 3 days bk to check the complaint . I have so far spent enough money for buying a new fridge on food bought and being wasted due to the time wasting methods used by one assist . What is the scope of my claim against them can I claim a brand new fridge cost from them . Because it does not look like anybody from one assist is interested in solving the matter.

On 29 aug one assist called up and informed that they don't have spare part and are unable to procure them, so now I am left with a fridge not working, a extended warranty which cannot be fulfilled as they do not have any spare part . When reminded about their advertisement which says problem rectified in 10 days they hv no reply. I hv informed them to solve the problem or provide a replacement which seems the only possible solution.

The fridge worked for a day after the technician came and then stopped working again .
