I bought a HomeAssist plan for my Air Conditioner on 16th May 2022 from their mobile application itself. I called their customer support to know about the best possible plan for my Air - Conditioner, they suggested me a Plan of Rs 3299/-, about which the customer support representative told me on my enquiry that the plan covered 3 cleaning service visits, Unlimited 100 % cashless repairs and genuine spare parts replacement for one year. I agreed on their offer and made the payment on the same day accepting the same offer which they have told me on call. After this they created my membership id and relationship No. which are [protected] and 282769 respectively. Thereafter, I booked a service call with one assist, on which a technician from their side visited my address on 1st June 2022, he inspected my AC and told me that the cooling coil of the air conditioner needs repairing and for which they need to remove that part and will get it repaired or replaced as per the requirement in 3-4 days, to which I have agreed and allowed to take the part with them. The matter of shock occurred and I felt cheated by OneAssist when a representative of them called me in the evening and told me that this spare part and its repairing is chargeable and this is not covered in the plan. I told him that they have sold their service by stating false promises and agreed on various false terms just to get the money and now they are denying me to provide the promised service and asking for extra money around Rs.4800/-to get the part repaired. I also requested them to cancel my membership and refund the amount as per their 15 Days free cancellation policy but they again denied to return my hard earned money. This is an act of cheating and harassment of customer . They removed the part from my Air Conditioner without telling me this earlier and now taking the advantage of their dominant position they are looking to extort money and delaying the service. I'm living in this heat scorching environment with my pregnant wife and I'm compelled to get my Air Condition repaired by paying them extra money as my wife whose health conditions are not stable due to pregnancy is deteriorating due to this harassment caused by OneAssist. If anything will happen to my wife and her baby, I'll knock the every door of justice as soon as possible against these cheaters.
