[Resolved] OneAssist Consumer Solutions — membership fee debited in spite of opting out | |
I applied for an hdfc credit card after being assured of no charges to be paid. I myself went through the application and specifically opted out of oneassist membership. Even before activating my card, i get a message of rs 1299.0 being debited with smartemi for oneassist. Without my intent or approval. Oneassist's customer executives are immensely uncooperative. They argue, lie and even refuse to provide complaint/ref number. I do not want this membership and i want my money to be refunded. This is fraudulence in bright daylight. Also, this made me lose faith in hdfc as i had no control over the transaction and i was made liable to pay for it. I will close my credit card. Card no ending with 4580 Hdfc complaint no. Sorry to hear that izeeshan, websites are flooded with complaints regarding OneAssist. Seems like they've been cheating people since a long time now.
Strict actions should be taken against such companies. Whats worrying is that banks like HDFC are providing them full access and are hand in gloves with them.
