I raised a claim for my mobile handset iphone 8 on nov 10th. After submitting documents and handset i got a call that as per apple service center my phone will be replaced. I paid the 10% charges assuming i wil get new phone.
However when i got phone on december 3rd, i started using it assuming it is new however after 3-4 days i realised this is my new phone but instead replacement - refurbished phone.
I immediately raised my concern with customs care and sent email as well. I clearly requested them i need to original handset back and do not to keep the they have provided.
However since then my experience is preety bad. I got email response next day asking for 48 hours. However i did not get response for 3-4 days despite multiple email reminders and calling to customer care. When i got response after few days i was told to contact apple servixe center and they have replaced my phone and they would be able to assist me.
I again dropped email and called customer care to raise my concern again and discussed in length and i was assured that i would get response again in 48 hours.
And as usual no response yet and no one is even bothered to relive my concern.
Customer care executive say they have escalated my concern and i wil get solution soon. And then i get email stating contact apple service center.
This is really pathetic and unprofessional.
