[Resolved] OneAssist Consumer Solutions — mobile insurance / part missing | |||||
I have submitted my phone for insurance cover to one assist with my one assist membership id: [protected] and the claim id service request # 2142787 they collected my phone on 18th july. Delivery guy took my phone along with the sim tray. I have ask him that they need the sim tray and they told me yes. I have given the description as below. "i was at my home and at kept the phone on table next to my bed at night and when on 9th july i woke up in the morning the phone was on my bed may be it fell off from the table and my cousin kept on my bed. I don't know the time i checked my phone the bottom 3 navigation buttons was not working. When i took it to service center on 9th they told me its a physical damage. The display touch is working fine and there is no break and damage on the screen only on left there is a little yellow spot" After 10 days the on 29 they told me that you claim is rejected giving the below information "dear swaroop With reference to your service request number 2142787, basis the documents submitted by you, the insurance company has denied the claim. The insurance company is constrained to deny the liability basis the following reason: "the subject claim is not admissible under exclusion 1 - loss or damage to the gadget due to mysterious circumstances We regret that we are unable to entertain this claim and therefore, we are closing the claim as repudiated on the grounds clearly mentioned above. We look at this as an opportunity lost to serve you. We will soon deliver your unrepaired handset to you. For any further assistance, please write to us at [protected]@oneassist.in or call[protected] or[protected] Warm regards, Team oneassist" Firstly they rejected my claim later on when they delivered my phone on 3d august 2017 the sim tray was missing. When i call the service center on 3rd aug the agent told me i will get it in 48 hrs and later they told me it will take 7 days. The ref number for the complain sr 2215340.
