I had initiated a cancellation of the one assist wallet cover for membership no [protected] on the 28 of June 2021 after receiving a auto renewal prompt by mail.
Spoke to Mr Sandeep who said that he had initiated the cancellation n I received a mail to that effect the same day.
Next morning I received the auto renewal prompt again n I spoke to Mr Priyank who confirmed that the cancellation process was in place n I had nothing to worry about.
This morning I received a message from my credit card company that the one assist fees of Rs 1899 was deducted by a pinless operation.
I called assist again n the lady Rituja tells me that the amount will be refunded within 7-10 working days !!
What amazes me is that there is no cancellation option on the one assist website n the customer service executives are only bothered about reciting the lines they are taught n not really listening to the customer query or addressing their concern...
How does one auto renew a contract without giving the customer an option to continue or back out of the contract ???
Very unethical n unprofessional practice.
Address my complaint n refund the deducted amount ASAP.
