[Resolved]  OneAssist Consumer Solutions — oneassist consumer solutions deducted money from my credit card even after raising request for cancellation

Hello there

Past two years i was with membership plan of 2499 with one assist.
My membership renewal date : 7-march-19.

I called them for cancellation on 5 of feb 2019 on saying proceed for cancellation no money should be deducted from my account.
Customer care executive told me that complaint will be raised & no money will be deducted assured.

On saying that no cancellation request was taken up till march 3 2019.

I called them again saying i not received any sms or mail regarding cancellation. No money should be deducted from my account.

Then they took up for cancellation request saying that i will receive call from cancellation department.

One executive called me forced & compelled me not to cancel the plan.

Again i call them i raised a complaint cancel my plan.

They raised request on march 6 2019.

On further saying them so many times money got deducted from my account without my knowledge on
March 8 2019.

Need refund of my money & cancellation of my plan.
One assist is irresponsible & debiting money from account without customer confirmation of renewal of plan.

Today i called OneAssist Consumer solutions customer support & asked for my refund saying i raised request on Feb 5 its your mistake that you not have raised the cancellation request.

The executive communicated to higher official & told me they deducted the amount and this cannot be refunded back fully & discounted the amount saying balance will be refunded.
I agreed to continue with them due to i cant able to communicate with them further.

Please note :
In future communicate to customer regarding renewal of plan.
Deducting money from customer account without prior communication is against the law.

As per the telephonic conversation, we have cancelled your plan vide service request No. 4050139 .

The refund of Rs.2599/ will be processed in bank/card account within 5 - 7 working days from which the amount has been debited.

Real vigilance starts with you. Never share your OTP or Card CVV details with anyone as it could lead to fraud. OneAssist or our representatives will never seek these details from you. #StayProtected
