This is with reference to claim 3305517 registered on 30th june 2018 for mi max phone screen being damaged (Phone does. Not switch on)..
This is the second year of the phone being insured. While the claim was registered and the documents uploaded. However one assist wanted me to upload the phone pic with its imei nu. Ber displayed on it to which i clarified its not possible was the phone doea not get switched on.. I meantioned the same in the damage description while registering the claim yet no one bothered to read it and continue to ask me to upload the phone image with imei number abd send me reminder email of the same inspite of me calling the call centre and letting them know about the situation...
To each reminder email i responded stating its not possible and received an assurancd email stating one assist is working and will rake care of it..
A few more calls and i was asked to upload the box image of the phone which i did not have as the phone was a year and a half old.. I was asked for the same info a few more times and was then told that invoive copy will do as it also has the imei number on it..
Then i receive a claim closure email as the documents are not received.. This time i called (Around 20th july, friday) and spoke to an executive to had no clue why was it closed so i has the get the supervisor (Asha) on call.. She needed some time to figure out and promised to call me by monday, 23rd july which she did not. Upon me calling today 24th july the lady just says i didnt have an update so i didnt call.. Also she went ahead to say ill call back omce i have an update from the backend team and had no timelines to call back.. My concers are..
1. Is this the customer service one assist brlieve in?? U dont even bother to let the customer know what is happening and keep him waiting loke a fool, u have no respect to customers time? If a suoervisor has this thought process what will someone expect from their subordinates... A sad state of customer service
2. When i sent so many emails and made multuple calls, how can you just close the claim automatically and do nothing about it thereafrer??
3. If you needed a box, include it in your terms and condition whole selling a policy to a customer... Say i[censored] do not have a box and your phone does not swotch on then do not buy this policy as we will not honour your claim..
4. If this is not listed as a pre requisite in your terms and condition then you cannot hold my claim for no reasons.. Was this information helpful? |
