Placed an order with online marketplace store india on 01/05/2020 for the above cough syrup for my son. I also paid for expedited shipping as i wanted this urgently. Received confirmation email and followed by another email asking for prescription. Provided them with a copy of the prescription on 01/09/2020 from the doctor on his letter head. On 01/11/2020, received email from them, saying "dear customer, we want to inform you that your prescription has been rejected so we can't process your order". Nothing else. Really, this is what you do to your customer? I started asking questions and finally on 01/16/20 received a reply informing me that the the doctors stamp is missing on the prescription. I informed them that i will speak to the doctor and ask him to put the stamp. Then they are saying "dear customer,
We want to inform you that if once your prescription has been rejected then we can't process the order again." they are saying they can refund the amount only after the deduction of cancellation charges (Rs 2500+5% from the paid amount). I think this is just pure scam. They have not provided any service and they are expecting me to pay them? I wanted to see if it can be resolved here first before proceeding with legal actions.
