Hi,
I bought a water geyser 1 year 7 months ago, which has a 4 years replacement guarantee on heating element and 7 years warranty on the body.
Make: Orient Electric (CK Birla Group)
Model: Eco Smart Plus 25 ltrs (Vertical)
Invoice details: DL[protected] / 20.11.2020
I raised a complaint on 22.07.2022 as water is not heating.
Complaint reference number: C[protected]
On 23.07.2022 an employee of Orient Electric named Stanley visited my place and inspected the water geyser. He confirmed that the heating element is worn out & needs replacing.
He promised to return in the next 6-8 hours and replace it.
2 days passed and he didn't return, so I called the call center again ([protected]). This time they gave me another reference number.
I spoke to Sandeep who gave me the telephone number of a local area manager (Mr Chetak), I called & didn't get a response so I sent a text message. No help received from him.
Next day I called again and spoke to someone named Sneha. Then to Payal. Kept on hold for a long time. Call us to get disconnected after waiting for 25-30 minutes while to promise to transfer the call to their supervisor.
After getting fed up with this, I sent an email to customer.[protected]@orientelectric.com and escalated the issue. Many emails exchanged since then & I only get empty assurances stating it'll be resolved soon.
Unfortunately this has been going on for the last 11 days.
The weather in Bangalore is really cold these days with heavy rains.
I'm forced to us the cooking stove to heat water for bath like our ancestors use to do half a century ago.
Please could someone help me with this?
I'm fed up of waiting, calling & emailing.
