Its always your mistake of sharing the password rather being hacked as you said above because google is good with the hacking concept and the email is [protected]@yahoo.com not [protected]@gmail.com if you forgot ... anyways why are you using this forum i would suggest you to go to google and complaint hee hee. all the best with it.

has been changed on 30 May 2009 at 11:13PM IST.
Sir, I would like to clearly state here that I have not changed my password at the said time and date. This means that someone had hacked my account and changed it.
As my id contains some important and confidential information, I am really worried.
Not only I am able to access my account nor I am able to reset the password as the Birthdate I am entering as the first step to reset the password is not accepting.
Probably I had forgotten the information that I may have entered at the time of account creation.

I request the Yahoo customer care to kindly help me in this regards as I am an very old customer for yahoo and this id is a very old id..

this is a case of cyber crime under the IT Act, 2000, kindly register a Complaint in the nearst police station so that an FIR can be lodged and accused can be traced out by police by there cyber crime investigation team . then you can file a criminal case for damages. I being a litigation lawyer is workig on such complaints and these are very effective.

Dear Ma'am,

Such issues occur most of the time. Teh reason why you should not upload your pics - is because of this.

Go to your existing profile - remove your picture. (all pictures)
Check the link in which your fake profile is linked - send the same to the administrator and ask them to ban it.

If this continues, kindly logde a complain with reference to cyber policies. Meet a lawyer and try seeing what best can be done to find who is doing this to you. Becasue today its just on Orkut profile.. tomorrow the person can use your picture for anything. Be careful.
