Orthosquare — Dereliction of your aligners treatment.

The below is the copy of mail i have forwarded to orthosquare.

the owners, marketing head, commercial head & h.R,

this email needs an urgent attention from your side as this copy will also be forwarded to the consumer court & furthermore will also have an fir for medical negligence of the aligners treatment.

*subject:*

(1) misinformation given regarding the product
(2) fraudulent activity of sharing kickbacks
(3) overcharging with inappropriate service for the delivery of product
(4) medical negligence with no explanation of the required procedure pre and post-purchase.

*history & background:*

i had visited orthosquare (mumbai- ghatkopar branch) first in the month of sept 2020 regarding suggestions to go for aligners and dr teja took my impression for which i paid and after several follow-ups in the month of april 2021 i went 2-3 times for kotak loan procedure where i was told 4500 will be downpayment out of my total treatment cost of 45, 000 and the rest will be converted into monthly emi. Then after this whole loan procedure, i was told i need to go for scanning which again took so many days, and then finally after 2 months the first set of aligners came on 7th june. Dr arwa i guess did my ipr and attachment was done by teja. The upper set seemed to be fine then but lower was not i kept on saying extraction will be there as i has consulted before as well but teja said no they will do ipr only after 3-4months of rigorous follow up then teja said they discussed my case and it requires extraction like all this while you guys have no idea regarding the treatment and for 4months i only had first set o[censored]pper aligner then, after all, this when the second aligners came again ipr was performed because 2nd set was not fitting at all. During this i contacted kotak to cancel my loan because i was just paying the emi and in return this treatment was going haywire so they were ready to do it but they just needed the respective clinic approval on mail for which i contacted teja and again after several follow-ups, she asked dr jennifer to call me. Jennifer called me almost 3-4months back listened to everything and went off, again i kept on asking (calling, messaging) then finally after a month she called me and i requested her to cancel my loan and told that i will pay directly to orthosquare as previously i was given the option to pay 15k in 3parts but she didn’t bother much and just said i will get back and till now she has not contacted once and whenever i called she either says she’s busy or she will call but she never did.

Coming back to aligners, i never wore my 2nd set as they never fitted instead i wore the 3rd aligner in the month of september 2021, and the 4th and 5th i got it on 19th nov 2021.
If i am not wrong one set should be worn for 15days right but with orthosquare it’s 30 days and sometimes even more. The whole month of dec '21 i kept on asking and reminding for further aligners now it’s jan and finally, on 6th jan i went to the clinic just to collect the 6th aligner and when asked several times about the further aligners, i have been told it's been ordered so that means the 6th set i will wear for again 2months right as no one is bothered about the treatment and it's tracking.

My whole experience and everything was such a mishap and misguided process. You guys only cared about money and nothing bothers you if the customer's treatment or service goes fine or not.

If all this was known to me, i wouldn't have opted for the treatment in the first place.

More than 50% of the total amount has been paid to kotak plus on top of it directly to orthosquare so kindly action the following on an immediate basis:

(1) letter of loan cancellation to kotak.
(2) complete payment refunded of as i do not want your
treatment nor do any of the materials.
