Respected Sir,
I'v bought Exide Home Batteries (Exide Inva Tubular IT500i), from Exide distributor named as "Brother's Enterprises" in Kalyan (E), Thane, Maharashtra during the time of purchase the distributor represented and promoted the features and specification of the battery so well (specially the indicator system present in the unit) that I purchased it for an amount of 13,000 with buybacking my old battery (Exide 1800 plus).
There was another battery available for 11,000 without indicator system.
Now after paying 2000 extra on this model ( Exide Inva Tubular IT500i) just for the indicator was the biggest mistake what I did, as the indicator is not functioning as mentioned in the user manual moreover I already logged a complaint with your company for the same issue for which your technician visited my house and tested the battery, he had provided me test result mentioning that battery indicator is just for an assumption purpose for the customer and is not completely reliable.
After paying extra 2000 for the unit which doesn't function as desired (Indicator) and their own employee giving me the suggestion that the indicator is not at all reliable doesn't meet customer satisfaction at all.
From the time I purchased this battery I,m facing issue with the indicator system.
Further to explain on this point Exide dealer never educated me any point during the time of purchase that the indicator unit does not comes under the warranty cover of 48 months,
Moreover if Exide is mentioning that i must have read the warranty details, the warranty card was delivered to me along with the unit in my house and before that nobody explained this point to me neither the company person or the dealer.
