Dear Sir,

I have reserved my i-Ticket thru IRCTC online reservation facility and expecting the courier from OverNite express. I have called them regarding this more than 10 times. They simply telling that your courier will be delivered on tomorrow, Since I should have to travel on 06.08.08to Coimbatore, Iam more frustrating about thr service and still I have not receiving any respond from thr side. I called them just 5 minutes before. This time also they are telling that it will be delivered today. My PNR Number is [protected] I request you to kindly take the necessary action regarding this issue.

Booked my i-ticket through irtc online on 30th of August, but till now i have not received the tickets, since this is a return ticket, i cannot go out of station without this. I checked the courier status it shows, IN TRANSIT. It has reached Bangalore on 1/10/2008 but till now ( 07/10/2008) i have not recd the ticket.Does it takes so much of time to deliver. Checked with your SMS track, the status is the same IN TRANSIT. I have to leave tomorrow. Hope it will be delvered today.

The IRCTC should stop relying on Overnite Express because of their pathetic service. Though the webtracker stated the Ticket is departed from Bangalore 4 days ago, it never reached me yet. Try calling their number and your call will never be answered. Tired of it, I juar sent a mailer to them:

hello, this is a complaint given on behalf of passenger's son. the windoors in the train was not proper and there was no lock in that and my mother was sleeping on the seat at 11.30pm on feb 28th thief had snached the double chain from my mother and ran away, it is very cruitial to take necessary action on this complaint immideatly, it was happened from the train comming from rajasthan, and please track the train details and the police investigation details immideatly and please mail me regarding amy questions regarding the station where the incident took place, details is with mother and i am out of country now,

Nobody is answering the phones? Whether they have a customer service center or not?

If they can't deliver what is the use of the name courier service.
Change name to Overnite Express self service by customers.

I didnot received my debit card pin that was despatched by HDFC bank having air way bill no.[protected] till now.

There is no response from the company. I was supposed to receive a courier sent on 23-04-08 but have not received anything so far. The company that sent me the courier gave me the following numbers[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. The phones are either engaged or no one bothers to pick up.
Another observation is that the site of Overnite couriers does not contain any contact details. Why do they only want people to mail?
One sluggish company.

The nexus between IRCTC and Overnite is to be broken. Rly ticket PNR [protected] booked over internet on 20th June 2008 said to have been dispatched by Overnite vide ID [protected] has not yet been delivered to the address given at Bangalore. The tel. nos. of Overnite as given by IRCTC are of no use as some of these numbers are bogus and some others the Overnite is not lifting up. I stand cheated. My train journey is becoming a problem. I have decided to lodge an FIR with police and then move the consumer's court.

Service is very poor and Delivery status is non satisfactory

I am working as a Branch Head of Tata AIG Life Insurance Co. in Agartala.We do posses a business relationship with Overnite owing to the transactions made on a daily basis.But the behaiviour of the local franchisee in Agartala is horrible,who doesn't care for maintaining business relationships.He has got his own timings & doesn't make any ammendments to it for business too.
We do get late sometime in matching up with his time due to our business contingencies,in such cases after many requests also,he is not ready to pick up documents & refuses for doing so.
Please let me know about your comments on this & I think it is a mutual understanding between us that can foster our business relationship in the future.

I had booked my i ticket on 13/3 but so far not recd, PNR no [protected] - delivery address at Wipro Ltd, CDC 3, Left wing, ground floor chennai - pl get it delivered immediately, travel date is 20/3.

I have couriered a package on the 13th of march to a given address in mumbai, but the package hasnt reached the address yet (#[protected] i was given an ANANDS number to be contacted (who claims to be some Manager) in mumbai whose cell number is [protected] who insists it has been delivered to an unknown name at the address. Your customer care numbers are useless, Please help.

Even I have suffered at hands of overnite courier services. I was awaiting Railway I-Ticket to be delivered at my Bangalore address. After 3-4 days of wait I contacted local overnite services agency who are in partnership with Indian Railways and found that they had just dropped it to one of my neighbouring house and not in-person to anyone. My neighbour is not taking responsibility of it and this courier service not owning their mistake either.

I booked a train ticket with IRCTC for the travel on 22.03.08.I did not get the ticket.Calls to Overnite express and tracking through online were helpless. Somehow I managed the travel on the particlar day.
To my astonishment the ticket was brought by the courier leasurely on 23rd evening. What is the use? I simply returned the same to IRCTC.
This kind of lethorgic attituded delay collapses all the regular programmes.
Will the Overnite Express attend to this and give a reply?

Overnite Express courier — Document not received which was booked on 14.06.2008 by ABN Amro Bank

Our Bank ABN Amro Bank was sent me one document throuh Overnite Express vide their receipt no. AWB [protected], dated 14.06.2008 and confirmed the same through SMS. When I enquired their office at Hyderbad/Secunderabad that they have informed that the address not cleared on the document and they asked the address and phone number. I informedn the address along with my phone number on 17.06.2008. They will assure that the document will be delivered on 18.06.2008. But not delivered. I asked them on 18.06.2008 and 19.06.2008 . The same answer they told. Finally I phoned on 20.06.2008 (today) and asked what about my document. They told it was retunred.

My experience with Overnie Couriers is poor. They and IRCTC mislead the public. Rly ticket no. PNR [protected] booked on internet said to have been despatched by Overnite couriers vide ID [protected] has not yet been delivered to Bangalore. Overnite's tel. no. as given by IRCTC as [protected] and[protected] are not at all being lifted by Overnite. Other tel. of Overnite as given by IRCTC as[protected] is non existing. This is a fit case for cheating and FIR to Police station followed by moving Consumer Court is essential.

IRCTC already dispatched the tickets to Overnite Express. I have been trying to web track the
booked tickets through the link available on www.irctc.co.in website. But the Overnite Express web track system is down and the main site is not accessible at present. Overnite EXpress should arrange an alternate system to access the web track 24/7 if main site goes unavailable.

the services of overnite courier should be closed I have got renewed my railway pass through IRCTC on 14/07/2008 -STR- No. [protected] but still not recived ticket.
There is no one to revert on anyrequest from courier department.

Overnite Express — Delayed tickets

Overnite express couriers did not deliver my ticket within 3 business days of online train ticket booking. Their website should be developed more and they should add their individual region's contact number. I had to make like 20 calls to get to them in Belgaum Karnatak. Totally irresponsible.

The very same story of the PNR. After talking to the DGM of IRCTC Bangalore, the courier delivered my ticket to Bangalore. By this time I had made alternative plans and reached Trivandrum. The courier continue to send trash mails and they are defensive. They are throwing stones from their glass house. I am now moving the Hon. Consumer court for the damages done to me.

Dear sir,

My parents have sent me a surprize birthday gift Mororola Motorazr mobile through OVERNITE EXPRESS COURIER ON 23rd of November from Etawah (U.P.) to Pune .The courier i received on 26 Nov but the mobile was stolen from it. I received the parcel opened it and than realised the cell is missing from it .Till then the delievery man has gone out.

hello overnite. v got to call the coimbatore avinashi road, branch for their no via airtel helpline and got their no and contacted them on our courier dely issue.

it seems the cover had come late, and on 19/5/2008, an delivery attempt was done or made but v were out and hence could not get the same during evening and they had promised the delivery today morning for sure on 20/5/2008.

thanks and god bless the courier serives. the problems with courier delivery is that the receipient must be present for receiving the same...to get the courier.. or else it goes back to the sender.

v were worried as abn amro had mentioned the date as of 14th and it was already 5 days till yesterday and glad the cover is still pending at cbe when v enquired today morning. v r staying alone and this is the cause for issues for us... at times, when v happen to move out...

v appreciate the courier services for their delivery, punctuality, promptness, and cannot fault them other than ourselves for not being home anytime to receive it in time.

similarly it happenned last week when the post man came with some regd post from lic of india, cbe 18 and for 2 days, he found the door locked and v could get the same only on 19/5/2008 afternoon when v were at home. v do stay home and go out for personal work or any issues otherwise.

so, v appeal to anyone to reach to their city branches or h.o. for solutions for delays and enquire with the sender for any problems in the aftermath for non receipt of courier in time.

v r so happy today with our issue getting resolved and thinking of even giving an pizza treat if possible to the courier boy as they had been caring based on our enquiry call.

v feel any enquiries or calls must be done early morning to the couriers as otherwise the staffs go for delivery anywhere, and cover various areas...

when v mentioned our matter, the staff immeadiately recognized the matter as from noida cover and proceeded urgently with her staff at hand to resolve the issue in half an hour...
