This was 30 May 2020, When I find contact details mob no [protected] of Mr Dev Kumar Sharma on Face Book through one of my relative and came to to know that he is selling his bike MC Royal Enfield Regd No UP86W6474. So I Called him on 30 May 2020 and Mr Dev Kumar Sharma has told me that he is a Serving Army Person, and he want to sale his MC RE Regd No UP 86W6474. I agreed to purchase it at Rs 60, 000.00 INR. He told me that he will sent his bike through courier and collect his complete money at my home while hand over RC with NOC. I agreed it. He assured me if I find any defect in MC then I can refuse to accept it and pay the amount to him.

As he depicted himself as an Army Person, I believed very much on his tong.

On 31 May 2020, Mr Dev Kumar Sharma has sent me photographs of Courier Coy Overnite Express Limited and packing photos of Royal Enfield MC with copy of RC on whis WhatsApp No [protected]. He then told me that he is going on posting from Delhi to Rajasthan Border, so he is urgently sending MC through Overnite Express Limited Domestic and International Courier. You send me Rs 3100.00 INR as Parcel Charges. He sent me his google Pay Account No [protected], and I Paid the amount Rs 3100.00 INR. After a few minuts he fwd me Courier Company Gate Pass Receipt bearing despatch details and said to me to pay Rs 7999.00 INR towards gate pass charges which is refundable and paid back to me on delivery of MC by Courier Delivery Person of Overnite Express Limited. I paid that Amount too on 31 May 2020 (Google Pay Receipt Screen Shot attached).

On 01 Jun 2020, Courier Delivery Person called me by his mob No [protected] and told that my Parcel of MC RE sent by Mr Dev Kumar Sharma is just 25 Kms away from me and I have to Pay Rs 16, 346.00 INR for GST and Insurance Charges. Then I said him to deliver the parcel to me and then collect the amount. But he was insisting me to pay otherwise my parcel will kept on hold.

Then I realized that he is a cheater, fraud and so I said I will pay complete amount once you deliver the parcel at my address.

After a few minutes, Mr Dev Kumar Sharma, Army Person called me and threatened with very abusive language to pay and other wise he will lodge a police complaint against me.

Then, I fwd a whatsApp msg that to deliver the MC RE other wise I will lodge a cyber crime complaint against him.

The then he sent me phographs of Army persons in uniform incluing a photograph of Army Colonel Rank Officer of EME Corps, APS person and a Subedar of ASC Corps.

When I asked him send your ID proof to pay the GST and Insurance charges he said I had already fwd photographs of Army in uniform that is my ID proof. I am a Army Person.

After that I fully confirmed and sure that he could not be a Army Person and he just a cheap fraud and decided to file cyber crime complaint on National Cyber portal which is not accepted on line. Then I tried to contact on help line number 155260 which was switched off at about 1648hrs.

Then I decided to complaint on Consumer Complaint portal.

I request that a strict action be taken against the fraud person. I have call records and Photographs, RC and Google pay receipt.
