It all started with a coupon distribution at a mall in Delhi which I visited during a weekend. The coupon says to visit for a Demo session on Holiday packages with some freebies attached to it (Like a complimentary stay at some designated places). In the session, they make so compelling to purchase the package that you have no option than buying it. You actually get attracted to the 'so good to be true' offerings of the holiday packages. Even the amount is also higher like I paid around 60k for 3 years of holiday package which included 18 nights in 4 or 5-star hotels. This also includes AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) of around 10k to be paid for 3 years at the beginning of the year. My 1st year AMC was also waived off. Due to my travel abroad, I could not utilize any holiday package in the 1st year.
In the second year, when I asked for a holiday booking I was asked to pay for the 1st AMC and then the booking was made for 2 nights. When I raised my 2nd booking request, again they asked for 2nd year AMC and the booking was made. So, effectively my first 2 bookings were made with the two AMCs I paid. In the 3rd booking, the hotel they booked was so pathetic that it is not of 4 or 5-star as promoised in the package. I also raised a complaint on the pathetic state of affairs to their customer care but no response has been received. Now, again when Iam asking for my 4th booking they are evading by saying their inventory is fully sold out. This request I have raised twice in the month of November and again upon their advice in the month of December but still result is the same. I really hope this reaches to those who do not become prey to these money looters. Was this information helpful? |
