Paisabazaar — Asked for disclosure of visa pwd

Sir, i had applied for credit card from paisabazaar thru standard chartered bank in april. Till now i didnt receive the card or any call so i lodged complaint today. Then i received call from concerned person and was told abt card details and he assured me for early delivery of card and apologized for delay also. But he also asked me my debit card details:
Debit card no.
Expiry date
Cvv code
And then visa password

I provided all except visa pwd bcz if i disclose it with above details, any body can debit my account without using my pin.

I want to know whether card may be issued to me or not.
And why visa pwd is required

Updated by Shailja kanaujia I have applied for credit card application ref no [protected], on 18th apr 2016. Submitted all required docs to agent mr. Rajesh. And got sms for appl ref no abovesaid. But i didnt get my card yet and unable to find the status.
I made so many calls to[protected] but everytime i was assured that they will call me back and tell the status. But no response.
Plz help me
