[Resolved]  Pan Card — pan card not received

Hi,

My name is Chinmoy Talukdar( S/O Sh.K.N.Talukdar) and wish to register a complaint against UTI Technology Services Ltd for non-delivery of my PAN card. My Pan Card no is AGSPT1167D( coupon no:[protected] My address is Flat No:8, 3rd Floor, F-128/1C, Mohammudpur, New Delhi, Pin code - 110066 and mob no. is [protected]. It's more than 6 months now that I have applied for PAN card but yet to receive it. After calling UTI Technology Services Ltd so many times and getting no response, I visited the UTI Technology Services located at Rajendra Place on 20th August. They told me that as per the records my PAN card was dispatched on 14th Feb 08 by courier and as it was not received, it came back to their office and they again sent it on 10th April 08, this time by Post. They also gave me Postal ID[protected] and asked me to enquire about the PAN card on the local Postal Office as their records show that the card did to return back to the Mumbai Head Office, as it should have when not received. I immediately contacted the local Postal Office, but they told me that the postal id is incomplete and asked me to bring the correct postal ID so as to check whether the PAN card has dispatched through Registered Post or through Speed post. I again went back to the UTI TSL office but was shocked to know that my PAN card was dispatched through normal post. They also refused to entertain any other enquiry regarding the PAN card and asked me to apply for a duplicate PAN card. I want to know where is my original PAN card and why did UTI TSL send the card through normal post when everyone know that post send by normal post is hardly delivered by postman. Also if the PAN card is misued by anyone who will be responsible for it? Please take action ASAP in this regard.
