Complaint against Park Royal Holidays
I am complaining against this company called Park Royal Holidays, based in Ahmedabad. Please do not fall in their trap like many o[censored]s here. They are a fraudster company and provide completely wrong and deceptive information while registering new members. I took membership on 11/Dec/23 by paying ₹67500 for India and Asia package for 3 years. They even provided some complementary holidays on paper. It did ring a bell in my mind when I got such a fantastic deal but unfortunately I ignored it after checking their legal papers. The person who did all these formalities and provided deceptive information is their marketing executive Lomash Sahu. He is a very sweet talker until his job gets done. He has now stopped taking my calls and responding to my WhatsApp messages. So does his boss called Vishal Tiwari, with whom I spoke couple of times. Every time he promptly answered my call until I paid full amount. Stay way from these people.
So according to their welcome letter, I could avail holidays of 6 nights and 7 days anytime of the year after providing 15-30 days notice in normal seasons and 30-45 days in peak season to their reservation team. The definition or timing of normal or peak season are not clearly mentioned in the welcome letter. I had clearly informed Lomash Sahu in December 1st week that I would be visiting Dubai on / around 3rd week of January 2024. I booked flight tickets accordingly after paying full amount to Park Royal Holidays.
I sent email to the reservation team on 27/Dec/23 for booking a hotel in Dubai from 19th Jan onwards for 6 nights. The reservation team declined my request straight away stating notice given is too short and they are unable to proceed with my request. According to them, in order to book hotel for holiday one must give them 75 days notice in advance. This piece of information was never provided to me before or during the registration. As a matter of fact I was not provided with the Terms and Conditions which was required to be signed by me. So officially I’m still not member although I have paid the money but not signed the documents. Hence I requested for a refund and cancel my membership. But as expected, according to their Terms and conditions, the money is not refundable. Now that person Lomash Sahu and his boss have completely stopped taking my calls. The reservation team has nothing much to say other than “Sorry we can’t proceed with your request and money is not refundable “
Therefore I have no options left now other than registering a complaint here and dragging them to consumer court for providing wrong information and causing mental harassment to me and my family.
