I had applied for a renewal of my passport. I had submitted all the documents required.

As requested by my online status, I have furnished my passport in original and submitted my attested photocopy of my passport to Mr Tulsi Das, Suptd on 24th June, 2008. My status on the passport website has not been updated.

This is the second time that i have submitted my attested photocopy. The first time was on 26th May 2008.

I have sent emails and tried calling them on the phone but no one ever picks up the phone.

I dont know what else to do.

Please help.

My wife's passport was applied on 02/05/2011, File Reference Number : DLH-A[protected], name Mrs Sonika Bharati, as mentioned on the web site of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, http://passportstatus.nic.in/, as dispatched on 22/07/2011 vide postal Registration Number 204794 is still not received. Pls take remedial action.

But i was not satisfied with this conversation and I am sending the letter via Registered Post.
Kindly see to the matter as earliest as possible.

A complaint for Mis-managment of Passport office,
I applied for the passport on27th Feb.2008. And file no.A016062 the documentation and verification were completed befor the Election in Barasat constituency in 2008.Then two constable dimanded me 500 rupees for pass port, I complainted the DIBO in kalyani in nadia Distric, after three month there is no responce so call SP of nadia distric and he sent my file to kolkata passport office after a long waiting i recived my passport with the address of DEBASHIS MODAK, S/O NIRMAL MODAK, RABINDEA NATH CIOLNY (5NO WARD), NEAR ANUKIL MORE, that is absilutely INCORRECT the correct address is Mr .debashis Modak, S/o Nirmal Modak, Rabindra Nath Colony(5 No.ward), Near Anukul More, PO+PS Kalyani, Nadia, west Bengal.IND.Then I have spent 300Rs for total travling chage, and qued for along time in kolkata passport office to meet with the officer BUT Enquary counter Officer did not give me a token to visite to the Chife officer 0n 03/09/09, I have demanded for INFORMATION act. Right but she denied that right . Not only that There are much more illegual and irregularites, harrasment of without couse, so many Agents que in the office .

My name is Juhi Garg.I want to register complaint against Mr. Ashok Kumar the incharge of Shakkarpur passport office. He does'nt know how to behave with the applicants. First of all i would like to know when all your guidelines clearly states that only one identity proof is sufficient if that id proof is voter id card and if it is ration card then it should be accompanied by one other supporting document of address proof then why Mr Ashok Kumar demanding from me another address proof when i am submitting my voter identity card.The date of issue of my voter id card is 22/02/2009. I visited the passport office to submit my application for new passport on 0707/2010. He rejected the voter id proof by telling that it is not a valid proof.Why this depatment is so corrupt if you want more information then why you people don't state it in your guidelines. After standing in 3hrs long Q Mr Ashok Kumar told me that he is under central govt and it is the order of his upper authority to collect another address proof. It means that your deparment itself does not follow their own guidelines.It is not possible for us to take leave everyday from the office for sumitting this form.
Hope some action will be taken against Mr Ashok kumar as early as possible.

I am facing the same situation. I don't know whether It is postal department's mistake or Passport Office's mistake. Status of Passport was updated on 10th of Oct-2008 as "Passport has been dispatched by Post on 3rd of October 2008". So I met Post man at on 11th of Oct and he said He has not recieved any Passport with my name. Today 14th of October I see Status of Passport is showing as "Passport dispatched to you has been returned undelivered on[protected]"

The same was the case with my brother. He visited Bhikaji Kama Office and applied with original address proof and original reciept for resending of passport. He met postman and give him his cell no. and he recieved the passport with 1-2 week.

In continuation to my last mail.

I met PRO at Bhikaji Cama Palace on 16-Oct-08. She told me that passport has not been dispatched (as in her computer dispatch date was coming as blank) and whatever status is showing on website is incorrect. She assured me that Passport would be sent within 2 weeks as it is prepared on 22-Sep-08. But I did not recieve passport, so I met PRO again on 01-Dec-08. This time she told me that the officer whose signature is required on Passport was on sick leave so they could not send passport. She assured me that my Passport would be dispatched withon 1 or 2 days. She told me that Passports which have been prepared before 20-Sep-08 has been dispatched. Since my Passport is prepared on 22-Sep-08, it would take hardly 1 or 2 days. But I did not recieve the Passport. Meanwhile I sent a fax to Passport Office but in vein. So again I met PRo on 29-Dec-08. This time on her computer Status of my Passport was showing as "Passport dispatched to you has been returned undelivered on[protected]". So she told me to apply for resending of Passport.
When I asked her why it is happening after meeting you 3 times after october. Same status I can see on Passport Status website. She replied "I DON'T KNOW".
I applied for resending of Passport on the same day 29-Dec-08. I was told that my Passport would be dispatched today and I would receive it tomorrow. But I visited Passport Office again on 02-01-09 as I did not receive the Passport. This time I was asked to submit photocopy of receipt of Passport application. He assured me that Passport would be sent today and you receive it by tomorrow. But it is 07-01-09 today and I have not received Passport till now. Status on website is same "Passport dispatched to you has been returned undelivered on[protected]"

Now I dont wish to visit Passport Office again and again. I would wait till Friday 09-01-09. After that I would look for some agent and give him Rs500-1000 so that I can receive my Passport without any problem.

my name is ajay verma and i applied for an additional booklet.
since the passport office in delhi cannot issue additional booklet with the same passport number(old passport had not expired), i had to re-aply for a new jumbo passport.
my current file no is DLHY01229108.

i applied for the passport under tatkaal scheme.
so i recieved my new jumbo passport booklet on[protected]
with my face defaced.there was black ink on my forhead
Hence i applied for another booklet, however after much difficulty i was able to convince the PRO that there was nothing wrong with my photograph but it was somebody who didnot do his/her job as it was the ink which had defaced my head with black ink and not my photograph itself.
so i had to stand in long que and wait for 4 hrs just to be told that i have to come back on[protected].
so i went to the office in delhi on 18th and finally submitted my request to give me a
proper booklet with a proper photograph, which took about more than half a day of mine.
i have recieved my booklet today on[protected], passport number H1883659
what i want to inform you about this booklet is that it is not a jumbo booklet for which i have paid RS.500 extra
and also i had applied for tatkaal scheme, for which i have paid RS.500 extra so that my passport could be delivered in 1-11 days.
even though i have paid extra for the services, i have not recieved the services.
even if i have to goto pasport office now again to get the correct booklet than i am not sure as to this time again there wont be any mistakes commited.
passport ofice at delhi has completely failed to do its job in my eyes.
officers are at all not reponsible if they cannot notice what mistakes they are doing at the time of making the passport, if they have made the mistake than they should correct it than and there.
however there could be a possibility that they never realised what mistakes they did.
for me this is irresponsibility.
i will be thankful if i could get a reply of this mail and this matter be looked upon and actions informed to me.

Passport office - Delhi — No reply for any complaint in the Passport Office

i alrady applied for passport before 25 days back.but yet i am not able to see my status only.if i enter ref.no. there is no data for this ref.no.

passport — did not recieve passport

we have applied for passport on the month of october. Police enquiry was also done. But we did not receive passport.
S.karthikeyan and G.Akila are the names. Please check and do the needfull.

I have applied for passport in December 2006 in Lucknow office but still I have not get my passport. Every time when I check my status it shows the following status.

“it is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a week’s time”.

He is an illiterate person and cannot check the status .So when I checked the status, it was showing that police report has not been received yet.But when I contacted the police station, they told me that the inquiry report has been dispatched on 28-12-08.So I went to passport office on[protected] and told them about the dispatch no., they told me that your status will be updated and your passport will be dispatched soon. But my passport status is not updated by today and I don't think that they are going to update it and will send my passport .Please be a little bit co-operative and send the passport as soon as possible.

When, I had submitted my passport application form at Delhi Passport office on 21 Jan 2008, I was told that I would get my passport in third week of Apr 2008, subject to documents in order and clear police varification. The File Reference No. is H001155. The present status is:- "Application is pending for want of police report". Where as, police varification was done on 17th Mar 2008. Passport Dept — Passport not received after two years

Dear Sir,

I applied for my passport in the year 2006, ref file no. A 016057.

Post that I have been visiting the passport office almost every month. I was told that it was sent for verification and would be granted soon. In the month of March 08, I was told by the PRO, that the passport is ready and would be delivered soon; even the Internet status said the same thing. But now the website says that there is no information and even the passport office has no information.

I am at state of confusion, as I am unable to comprehend how to proceed further.

This is regarding non reciept of passport.My file refernce no is F[protected].Date of application is[protected].I had applied for renewal and change of address of my passport.The police verification for the same took place at my residence on the 14-03-08. the status since then is showing case pending for want of police report.I had also gone to the passport office at Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi.on 21-04-08. It took me 2 and a half hours of standing in a que before i could meet the RPO.He took a minute to tell me to meet the PRO. after an arduous wait of 2 hrs the PRO checked the status and told me what I already knew that my case was pending for want of police report.He said i have to wait till the report is clear. it has been four months since i had applied but nothing has happened till now the application is still pending for want of police report.Innumerable e-mails to the PRO and rpo had been sent but to no avail

I used to do the mail to passport office regulary but no response was there from their side.Also No body is picking up the phone there. Once i got a call from passport office and told that the police report has not been received. Then i contacted the local police station as well as the Distt Police station. Ijust confirmed from them about the verification. Local police stations sent the request on 10 JAN, 08.
BUT i am not getting what to do ????
The present status is : Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined .

I WOULD BE THANKFUL IF I GOT MY PASSPORT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Concerned Authority

For Urban areas: The Executive Officer under the Municipalities Act is the Assistant Registrar (Birth & Death).
For Rural areas: The Panchayat Secretary of the concerned Panchayat.

Since I hail from rural area, I had submitted the birth certificate from the Panchayat Secretary for my daughter Shweta Rana (File Ref M[protected]. Request the same is acceptable as I see remarks against her application status that birth certificate from Municipality or Registrar is required. The confirmation may be emailed for my further action please.

Passport Office Delhi — iI have not recieved the passport till know

Dear Sir/ Madam

I have requested for passport on -20/08/2008 my file no is -z015512 . Police verification is also been done on october, after verification i went to the passport office in november i met the PRO there she said that i will recieve the passport in november end, but today is -10/02/2009 till know i have not recive the passport . Is there anybody who can help me out because i have to apply for a job in Dubai.

I have requested for passport on 5/11/2009 my file no isz481521. Police verification is also been done on november after verification i went to the passport office from november to january i met the PRO there he said that i will recieve the passport in january end, but today is 14/02/2009 till know i have not recive the passport . Is there anybody who can help me out because i have to go near to my husband.because i live here alone without my husband. please help me please
