I HAVE APPLIED FOR PASSPORT LICENCE NAGPUR.
ON DATED 15/01/2011, ITS NOW FIVE MONTHS BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PASSPORT TILL NOW. AS MY POLICE VERIFICATION HAS BEEN DONE ON 27/01/2011 AND IT HAS BEEN SENT FURTHER....

I have submitted my application on 30.12 2010 and resubmitted PP for along with photograph on 25th Jan 2011 at Kolkata regional office, as per notification in the website.

The Police verification was done on 7th May,2011 by Baguiati PS , under Barasat PS.

I have applied for passport at regional passport office two and a half month before. Police inquiry was clear. Its just delaying in the dispatch with the message written "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time".

I have applied for the passport on 16/03/2011 (parbhadevi office ). My passport file no is BO10350 . I stay at lower Parel and belong to zone III i.e N.M Joshi marg, residential inquiry belongs to Lower Parel beat (near shivalae Hall ). The officer in charge at lower Parel beat is Mr Mane.

I used the website www.passportindia.gov.in for submitting the passport. It is useful for getting appointment no but no where status is updated. You will never know your status of the passport using this website.
Even if you call the call centre, call centre emmployee will tell you " are you the main applicant ?
Is police verification done ? if say police verification is done, your passport is...

I have recently applied for and got my Passport issued by the Passport Office in Chennai. I Had Applied for a new passport with file reference no HYD-A[protected]. I Received the passport on[protected] vide the postal registration no S112237 (Passport no is J5052270).
The address in my passport is misprinted as 1-6-26/1 instead of 1-6-28/1. I have submitted the correct details in my application form. I Have to apply for a VISA and i am very much worried about what to do because the address in my passport...
